Roving Reporter Nye Davis was lucky enough to interview Hero Motor Corps Executive VP Sanjay Bhan at Oulton Park Circuit in Cheshire.
“We understand that the UK and Europe are lifestyle markets,” Bhan continued. “Most of those buying bikes are over 40. Motorcycling does not need to belong to 50-year-olds – it can belong to the 20- and 25-year-olds. Those are the people who need to be on bikes, and that’s what will define the market.
“The question is: how do we get a new generation into riding? To do that, we must break barriers by making bikes affordable – easy on the pocket, fun and pleasing on the eye. That’s what we’re pitching.
