The Final part of the Holy Trinity of the MotoGB Classic Collection of Vincents - the 500 Comet. 1950 Vincent Series C Comet, the iconic smaller 499cc OHV single cylinder sibling to the twin cylinder Rapide & Shadow models. Lovely, standard and unmolested, beautiful condition. Fully restored and rebuilt by the previous owner - starts and runs well prior to being dry stored. The Comet is one of a small range of sports touring motorcycles produced by Vincent who were renowned for creating fast, high end motorcycles for the discerning Gentlemen. The bike comes with paperwork covering the work carried out during the restoration, along with a riders manual and the original registration book, showing that the machine was 1st registered on the 3rd November 1950. This machine is being sold as a collector’s item, part of a stunning private collection of Vintage and Classic machines that have all been dry stored for several of years and will require light recommissioning prior to use.
