1976 R Reg BMW R90S that has covered Only 24,911 miles, genuine three owner machine. A lovely, honest, unrestored example of a BMW icon that was originally manufactured in June1976 and sold in August that same year. Their Flagship Superbike and the bike that coined the phrase Sports Tourer thanks to it's supremely effective fairing and luggage options. Now becoming very rare and hard to find. At some point in the distant past, this bike has had the engine replaced so it's not on the original air cooled Boxer engine. The replacement engine number has been checked with a BMW Specialist and it is an R90/6 motor that was manufactured in May 1976. Also fitted with Bing carbs in place of the OE PHM 38 Del Orto pumper carbs. Superb Condition for a 48 year old machine. Supplied with a sheath of old tax discs and MOT's and the original bill of sale from Cowies of Redcar Ltd. This machine is being sold as a collector’s item, part of a stunning private collection of Vintage and Classic machines that have all been dry stored for several of years and will require some light recommissioning prior to use.
