1977 S Reg Honda GL 1000 Goldwing with Only 2,877 miles, Yes - 2,877 miles from NEW ! Original and a stunning, unrestored example.. An exclusive chance to own a real Time warp machine. 1 owner machine supplied by Millers Motorcycles of Wigan on the 12th August 1977. Serviced at 1500 miles on the 14th July 1978 by Millers Motorcycles, Wigan. This bike was then mothballed and hasn't been on the road since. This machine was re-commissioned in 2024 by ourselves and has had new Genuine cambelts fitted, a new fuel pump, fresh fluids, new YUASA battery and new spark plugs and once again starts on the button. A motorcycle that changed the world of sports touring, Manufactured from 1974 to 1979 in its simplest and purest, one litre format it had four liquid cooled and horizontally opposed cylinders producing ample power which was transmitted to the rear wheel via a maintenance free shaft drive. The Honda Gold Wing took the biking world by storm when it was announced in 1974. Here was a 998cc flat four, water-cooled touring machine of exquisite quality, which went on to become a bi-word for luxury touring and most of all, reliability. The Gold Wing (albeit now in 1800cc flat six configuration) continues to head up the Honda motorcycle range 47 years later. This is a one owner machine comes with the original owners manual and service book and even bill of sale. The bike is totally as it left the shop back in 1977 and does have some very light patina. This machine is being sold as a collector’s item, part of a stunning private collection of Vintage and Classic machines that have all been carefully stored.
