Price TBC Pre order £200....Meet the GSX-10R: an all-new, fully faired sports bike powered by the legendary K5-derived 999cc inline-four, packed with modern electronics and designed to deliver proper litre-bike performance without losing sight of the road-riding experience. While everyone else seems obsessed with chasing 200bhp-plus and ever more eye-watering price tags, Suzuki has taken a different route. The GSX-10R delivers 152PS (150bhp) and 106Nm, prioritising accessible, usable performance over headline-grabbing numbers. That K5-derived motor has been refined over the years in the GSX-S1000, but now gets its own sports bike package. In other words, this isn't simply a track weapon with number plates. Suzuki reckons it's a sports bike for commuting, weekend blasts, touring and trackdays… There's a new aluminium twin-spar chassis, bespoke swingarm, fully adjustable KYB suspension and an electronically controlled steering damper. The riding position is properly sporty, too, with GSX-R-inspired geometry, higher pegs and integrated winglets designed to help keep the front wheel in check under acceleration. It hasn't skimped on the tech, either. Suzuki's S.I.R.S. electronics package brings 15 control systems, including three riding modes, traction and wheelie control, launch control, cornering ABS and a bi-directional quickshifter. New additions include slide control and a brake-hold system, while cruise control, a colour TFT dash, smartphone connectivity and USB-C charging add everyday usability.
