1976 Suzuki RE5 in Firemist / Midnight blue. Lovely, a lovely fully restored example of Suzuki's very rare and rather quirky Rotary engined 1970's classic. Only manufactured between 1974 - 1976 and with its futuristic design penned by Giorgetto Giugiaro, Suzuki definitely went out on a limb, even today the design looks like something you would only see only in concept drawings yet love it or hate it, it suits the bike and adds to the character. Not only are these a rare machine, but they are part of a very small number of production bikes that had a Wankel rotary engine fitted. This 1976 UK registered machine is a credit to its former owners and would be a great usable classic that would definitely draw a crowd at any Sunday morning bike meet. This machine is being sold as a collector’s item, part of a stunning private collection of Vintage and Classic machines that have all been dry stored for several of years and will require light recommissioning prior to use.
